As a coach, you already know that the mental game is often more than half the battle for your athletes. For some of your players, it might even be their biggest hurdle to overcome.
Our primary goal for the coaches program is to help you unlock your team’s potential by passing on the mental training processes, strategies, and tactics that we use for our own athletes. Secondly, you’ll also go through our program as an individual — experiencing the mental toughness strategies universally used by pro-athletes of all sports, but for the benefit of your coaching.
Whether you coach teams or individuals, this program is ideal for anyone who is looking to improve their athletes’ mental strength and maximize performance potential.

Before becoming a mental skills teacher, you’ll first become the student. We’ll teach you the steps and strategies to build pro-level mental toughness.

Coach's Program Includes
- Intake Assessment
Thrive uses a specific, and proprietary assessment tool, (The 9 Mental Skills of Successful Athletes) to help identify what mental game barriers are hurting your athlete’s performance as well as to correctly identify their mental strengths.
- Personalized Mental Game Plan
We will create a personalized game plan based on your specific challenges and goals as a program. The plan we create will act as a road-map for your mental training sessions.
- Weekly Mental Coaching Sessions
In person, phone, or by Skype. Each session is designed to teach you how to apply functional mental strategies for practice and games. You will work directly with Derrek and learn how to improve your team’s mental toughness for both practices and competitions.
- Unlimited Email Correspondence
You are welcome to email/text Derrek with any and all questions you have during the course of your mental training program.
- Custom Modules: Exercises
After each session, you will receive exercises specific to the topic discussed that day. You will be expected to apply these strategies between our sessions in order to further your team’s growth.
